Interview Questions for Madison-Grant's Beau Engle Round 2

As we start to hit the midway road of the semester, it was time for me to start covering the Grant County High School Football teams again.  Since the big match-up this week is Madison-Grant vs. Mississinewa (the winner of the game will win the Central Indiana Conference Championship), I decided to focus on one of those schools.  I have covered Mississinewa more recently than Madison-Grant so my decision was made.  Madison-Grant is getting the spotlight this week for the CIC Championship game.  Here's the questions that I'm going to ask him in just over 30 minutes:

The Windup: Week 6 Interview Questions for Madison-Grant Coach Beau Engle
I.                    Last Week’s Game
a.       The first two drives of the game your team was able to go down and score to go up, 14-0.  How was your team able to come out and have such a successful start?
b.      Your team defense held the Alexandria offense to just 55 yards.  In what ways was the defense able to hold the offense at bay?
c.       A total of five turnovers helped the Alexandria Tigers come back and suddenly it was 21-21.  What were you telling your team after allowing Alexandria back in the game?
d.      Your team was able to get a late 25-yard field goal and win, 24-21.  After a game of two halves, what are you taking from this game to apply in the season finale?
II.                  This Week’s Game
a.       This week you play in Gas City against the 7-1 Mississinewa Indians with the Central Indiana Conference Title on the line.  What’s the game plan for tonight’s game?
b.      You know the crowd will be very active in the game at Mississinewa High School.  How are you prepping your players to handle the pressure and play effectively on the road?
c.       After an 0-2 start to the season, your team has gone 5-1 to have a shot at the CIC title.  What event happened or suddenly turned to get your team headed in the right direction?
d.      Obviously you want your team to win but whatever does happen – what are you telling your guys after this regular season ends and you move to the postseason?
III.                Other Grant County Schools
a.       The Eastbrook Panthers host the Oak Hill Golden Eagles over on the east side of the county.  What are your thoughts on this game especially after Eastbrook’s demolishing win over Mississinewa last week?
b.      The Marion Giants host Muncie Central to wrap up their season.  It seems like a year ago but the Argyles did play the Giants in week 1.  How would you rate the Giants season this year as the team is 3-5 going into the finale?
c.       As the regular season of high school football winds down tonight, how would you rate this season? Comments on the Grant County football season?
IV.                NFL Weekend Preview
a.       In Denver, the Broncos have made a switch-a-roo at the Quarterback position.  Kyle Orton out.  Tim Tebow in.  As a coach, how do you handle a situation where the fans want one quarterback but he may not be the answer to the team’s struggles?
b.      Last week the legendary Oakland Raiders Owner Al Davis passed away.  The team is planning on honoring him this week at home against the Cleveland Browns.  What are your thoughts on Al Davis’ impact on the game of football?
