Fortress Sports Update: Week 5

Welcome to the Fortress Sports Update for the week of October 3rd.  This is where we bring you a look at the week's upcoming high school sporting events.  I'm Tim Decker.

On Monday, October 3rd -
The lone event is a High School Volleyball Match where Oak Hill is at Manchester starting at 6 pm.

On Tuesday, October 4th -
The North Central Conference Co-Ed Cross Country Championship Meet takes place at 5:30 p.m.  The Marion Giants will host and participate in the event.

2 High School Volleyball Matches are taking place.  They are:
Madison-Grant at Marion and Blackford at Eastbrook both starting at 6 pm.

On Wednesday, October 5th -
The Central Indiana Conference Co-Ed Cross Country Championship Meet takes place at Blackford High School Starting at 5 pm.  Madison-Grant, Mississinewa, Oak Hill, and Eastbrook are all competing in the meet.

Only 1 High School Volleyball Match is scheduled as Eastbrook is at Wabash starting at 6 pm.

On Thursday, October 6th -
3 County Schools hit the road in High School Volleyball Matches.  They are:
Madison-Grant at Elwood, Mississinewa at Frankton, and Oak Hill at Blackford - they all start at 6 pm.

On Friday, October 7th -
Week 8 of Grant County High School Football will dominate the evening.  Match-ups include:
Madison-Grant at Alexandria, Kokomo at Marion, Mississinewa at Eastbrook, and Elwood at Oak Hill - all these games start at 7 pm.

On Saturday, October 8th -
The annual high school volleyball Grant Four tournament will be taking place at Madison-Grant High School starting at 9 am.  Eastbrook, Mississinewa, and Oak Hill will also participate.

The Marion Giants Volleyball team will be playing in a tri-team match against Richmond and New Castle.  The event is taking place at Richmond High School starting at 10 am.
