Fortress Sports Update: Week 6

Welcome to the Fortress Sports Update for the week of October 10th.  This is where we bring you a look at the week's upcoming high school sporting events.  I'm Tim Decker.

On Monday, October 10th -
Three High School Volleyball Matches are taking place.  They are: Eastbrook at Elwood - 6 pm, Mississinewa at Eastern - 6 pm, and Oak Hill at Northfield - 5:30 pm.  The Eastbrook and Mississinewa games start at 6 pm while Oak Hill's game starts at 5:30 pm.

On Tuesday, October 11th -
The Co-Ed Cross Country State Tournament Begins with a Sectional Meet at Logansport High School starting at 5 pm.  Oak Hill and Madison-Grant are competing in this meet. Meanwhile, Eastbrook, Marion, and Mississinewa are competing in the sectional meet at Indiana Wesleyan University starting also at 5 pm.

The Lone High School Volleyball Match of the night is Madison-Grant at Blackford starting at 6 pm.

Wednesday, October 12th -
This is a quiet night for high school sports as nothing is scheduled for our local teams.

On Thursday, October 13th -
Three High School Volleyball Matches will dominate your evening.  They are: Wes-Del at Madison-Grant (Senior Night) - 6 pm, Marion at Kokomo - 6 pm, and Mississinewa at Oak Hill - 6 pm

On Friday, October 14th -
The regular season of Grant County High School Football will end with a bang.
Madison-Grant @ Mississinewa (CIC Title Game) - 7 pm
Muncie Central @ Marion - 7 pm
Oak Hill at Eastbrook - 7 pm

On Saturday, October 15th -
The Marion Giants Volleyball team is hosting its own invitational starting at 10 am at Marion High School.  Eastbrook is also competing in the tournament. 

The Oak Hill Volleyball team is hosting a tri-team match against Lakeland Christian and Traders Point starting at 10 am.
