Fortress Sports Update: Week 4

Welcome to the Fortress Sports Update for the week of September 26th.  This is where we bring you a look at the week's upcoming high school sporting events.  I'm Tim Decker.

On Monday, September 26th -
One High School Volleyball Match-up highlights the night as Tippy Valley plays at Oak Hill.  The match starts at 6 pm.

On Tuesday, September 27th -
Volleyball is at it again with 2 matches.  First, Mississinewa hosts Alexandria and then Madison-Grant hosts Frankton.  Both those matches have a 6 pm start.

The Madison-Grant Co-Ed Cross Country team will be participating in a meet against Elwood and Frankton.  The event will start at Elwood High School at 5 pm.  Alexandria and Taylor High Schools will be at Mississinewa High School for a meet there that starts at 5 pm.  The Marion High School Co-Ed Cross Country team will participate in a meet against Muncie Central, Anderson, and Delta at Muncie Central High School starting at 5:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, September 28th -
Only 2 of our local high school volleyball teams will be in action.  Eastbrook hosts Alexandria and Oak Hill travels to play North Miami.  Both of those matches start at 6 pm

On Thursday, September 29th -
3 High School Volleyball Matches will dominate your evening.  They are: Madison Grant at Wabash, Oak Hill at Frankton, and Huntington North at Marion.  All those games start at 6 pm.

On Friday, September 30th -
Week 7 Grant County High School Football Match-ups:
Madison Grant at Eastbrook - 7 pm
Elwood at Mississinewa - 7 pm
Blackford at Oak Hill - 7 pm
Marion at Anderson - 7 pm

On Saturday, October 1st -
Cross Country Meets include:
Eastbrook and Madison-Grant at Jay County - 9 am

The Marion High School Volleyball team will participate in the Richmond Invitational starting at 9 am.
