Fortress Sports Update: Week 2.1

Our bosses here at the Fortress believe this needs to be updated a little more often so you'll see the Fortress Sports Update pop up a little more often on here.  Absolutely nothing wrong with that.  Enjoy!

Welcome to the Fortress Sports Update!  This is where we bring you a glimpse into the week's upcoming Grant County sporting events.  I'm Tim Decker.

On Friday, January 20th -
Boys High School Basketball will dominate the evening as once again all 5 county teams are in action. Match-ups include:
Madison-Grant at Eastbrook - 7:30 p.m.
Elwood at Mississinewa - 7:30 p.m.
Alexandria at Oak Hill - 7:30 p.m.
Marion at Anderson - 8:00 p.m.

On Saturday, January 21st -
High School Wrestling will be the focus for this upcoming Saturday as the Central Indiana Conference Meet will take place at Elwood High School starting at 9 a.m.  Eastbrook, Madison-Grant, Mississinewa, and Oak Hill will be participating in the event.

The Marion Giants Wrestling team will be participating in the North Central Conference Meet will take place at Logansport High School also starting at 9 a.m.

If wrestling isn't enough for you, there are 4 girls High School Basketball games taking place.  Match-ups include:
Anderson at Marion - 1:30 p.m.
Eastbrook at Madison-Grant - 7:30 p.m.
Mississinewa at Elwood - 7:30 p.m.
Oak Hill at Alexandria - 7:30 p.m.

On Sunday, January 22nd -
There are no local high school sporting events taking place on this day.

On Monday, January 23rd -
There are no local high school sporting events taking place on this day.

On Tuesday, January 24th -
Girls High School Basketball will highlight the evening as 3 county teams are in action.  Match-ups include:
Eastern at Oak Hill - 7:30 p.m.
Northfield at Eastbrook - 7:30 p.m.
Northwestern at Madison-Grant - 7:30 p.m.
